Code of Conduct

All members of Nippon Karate Dojo Club are expected to uphold the following code inside and outside the dojo:

  1. Show Respect at All Times

    • Bow upon entering and leaving the dojo.

    • Address instructors and seniors with courtesy and humility.

  2. Practice Discipline and Cleanliness

    • Arrive on time, in full uniform, and with a focused mindset.

    • Keep yourself, your gi, and your training area clean.

  3. Train with Effort and Purpose

    • Give 100% during every class, regardless of level or rank.

    • Embrace corrections and always strive to improve.

  4. Support Your Fellow Students

    • Encourage, not compete with, your peers in unhealthy ways.

    • Foster an environment of growth, safety, and support.

  5. Uphold Integrity Inside and Outside the Dojo

    • Be honest, humble, and responsible in school, work, or life.

    • Represent the dojo and Karate-do with honor in tournaments and public spaces.

  6. No Violence, No Ego

    • Karate is for self-defense and personal development—not to harm or intimidate.

    • Leave ego at the door; the dojo is a place of learning and mutual respect.
